How to Get Involved

At United Way of Greater Cleveland, we bring the activities of our donors and volunteers together to accomplish our goals for helping the community. We strive to create a healthy community where all our children graduate and all our families are financially stable.

We raise funds to address our community’s most critical issues. Your investment in United Way’s Community Impact Fund has the greatest impact on Greater Cleveland because it helps to inspire and sustain long-term solutions. Visit our donation page to make a gift for yourself or a loved one. Consider making a monthly recurring gift to help support our ongoing mission into the future.

Advocate

We advocate for solutions to address community needs that generate lasting change. Stand with us, and together we will advocate for the issues that inspire all of us. Our programs are designed to increase awareness, strengthen public policy, and secure critically needed government support.

Volunteer

We match our corporate partners’ corporate social responsibility objectives with United Way’s community impact agenda. This allows us to deploy volunteer power and voices to get community work done. Our volunteer opportunities are available for groups and individuals. Whether you would like to volunteer by yourself or with a crew of coworkers, we can help make sure that you have meaningful ways to volunteer your time.

Connect

We also encourage you to connect with others. Our Young Leaders group offers engaging and meaningful philanthropic opportunities for young professionals. The Women’s Leadership Council is a dynamic group of philanthropic Greater Cleveland women making a difference in our community.

When you volunteer through United Way of Greater Cleveland, our community becomes healthier, our resources grow, our kids graduate and our families become financially stable!
