Planned Giving

United Way for Greater Cleveland’s commitment to our community extends far beyond this year, this decade, or this generation. With your planned gift, bequest or life income plan, you increase United Way’s capacity to respond to changing social needs. If you have questions about any of the giving options mentioned above, please call United Way at (216) 436-2100.

Combined Gifts

Should you and your spouse give through your respective corporate workplace campaigns you could combine your gifts (minimum $10,000) and be recognized as Philanthropist Society members. Simply contact United Way’s Major Gifts Team.

Foundation and Corporate Matching

Corporate matching gifts are a great way to maximize a donor’s contribution to United Way, and could easily double the contribution. Please check with your employer to find out if they offer matching gifts.

Donations in Your Name

Should a friend, family member, foundation or donor advised fund like to give a donation in your name, United Way will attribute that gift to you. Attributable gifts qualify donors for Philanthropist Society membership (minimum $10,000). Please check with your family foundation or donor advised fund to see if they would like to contribute to United Way in your name.

For additional information, please visit our Planned Giving site or contact Tanzie Adams at tadams@unitedwaycleveland.org or 216-436-2193.
