About the Day of Service

United Way’s Day of Service for our Veterans event will connect in transition and homeless veterans to much-needed United Way basic need services and other community resources. The event will also engage college students and young adults to United Way volunteer service as they will serve as volunteers for the event and increase their understanding of the organization’s core work. Volunteer roles range from registration to veteran service escorts. This event is in partnership with Tri-C’s commemorative efforts for the Stokes brothers.

If you are a veteran who is in need of assistance, or know a friend, family member or colleague who would be interested in benefiting from the many services this event will offer, make sure to attend!
