Why did you get involved with Young Leaders and United Way?

I wanted to become more involved in the community by giving back while also having the opportunity to connect with other young professionals in the area.

Are you a Cleveland native? If not, how did you come to live and work in Cleveland?

I am a Cleveland native, but I went to college at Elon University in North Carolina. When I graduated, I knew I wanted to come back to the Cleveland area. I got a job with UH and am thrilled to be back in northeast Ohio.

In your opinion, what makes Cleveland a good city for young professionals?

Cleveland is a great place to live and work because it has a little bit of everything. From the Cleveland Museum of Art and Severance Hall, the West Side Market, the Flats, the Metroparks, various sporting events—there is always something going on. Plus, Cleveland is surrounded by amazing healthcare institutions, universities, and businesses and corporations. It has the amenities of a large city without being too overwhelming.
