Become a Volunteer Tax Preparer

Volunteer Tax Preparers are Needed

You can help bring millions of dollars to the local economy by volunteering a few hours of your time during tax season. Volunteer tax preparers gain valuable experience in the realm of tax law, working with low income wage earners, and working with nonprofit organizations. Your efforts directly help bring about economic development to Cuyahoga County. Come and join us, get free training and help serve the community at locations throughout the County. As a volunteer you will help:
  • One hour of your time could be worth $4,536 to a low-wage worker
  • Help bring $2.5 million to Cuyahoga County's economy
  • Save our clients more than $500,000 in tax preparation fees
