Counterterrorism Compliance Certificate

In 2005, United Ways were required to implement a compliance program designed to detect and prevent the flow of funds to terrorists and/or terrorist organizations to comply with the spirit and intent of the USA PATRIOT Act and other counterterrorism laws.  Agencies are required to complete a counterterrorism compliance certificate annually in order to receive funds from United Way’s annual campaign.
