United Way revises its Equal Opportunity and Diversity Policy

At its September 2012 Board of Directors meeting, during the executive session, the Board unanimously voted to add sexual orientation to United Way of Greater Cleveland's Equal Opportunity and Diversity Policy.

In May 2013 the Boy Scouts of America voted to allow gay youths to participate in their programs. This enabled our Community Impact volunteers to continue funding the Boy Scouts for the third year of our three-year funding cycle.
