Julianne Gozar is Vice President, Human Resources and Operations for United Way of Greater Cleveland. In this capacity she provides leadership for our Human Resources, Information Technology, and Building Operations functions.  She is helping accelerate the organization’s transformation through leadership, talent management, attracting and developing the best diverse talent and building a culture of engagement, agility, and innovation.

Perviously, Ms. Gozar served as Director, Human Resources and Talent Management from May 2015 until June 2017.  Prior to joining the organization, she held leadership and senior management positions in federal defense, aviation services, commercial security, and transportation and logistics sectors. Her background spans in strategic planning, business and program development, marketing, communications and government affairs, as well as operational management at the corporate and site levels.

Ms. Gozar graduated from The Ohio State University with B.A. in Journalism and earned her M.S. in Human Resource Development from Villanova University.  She holds certifications as both a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a Senior Certified Professional through the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM-SCP).  Ms. Gozar is also trained quality internal and lead auditor under ISO 9001:2008.  She is currently affiliated with numerous professional organization including the local and national chapter for Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), Association for Talent Development (ATD), and Society for Diversity.  Ms. Gozar is also engaged in several civic programs.

Ms. Gozar is a native Clevelander residing on the westside with her family.
