Fall Ball: Uniquely Cleveland (and a love story)

I recently met Lo, a young professional from American Greetings. I mentioned working at United Way and her face immediately lit up! Here’s why:

Lo met Josh at Fall Ball. The couple looks forward to making it a tradition.

It was last October. A friend of Lo’s had plans to attend United Way Young Leaders’ Fall Ball with her significant other, but something changed. The friend invited Lo to use her extra ticket and she agreed. Lo had a great time – a night filled with live entertainment, modern art, a silent auction and food and drinks. But there’s more, she met Josh, her current boyfriend.

Now every October, Lo and Josh have something to look forward to. They’re planning to return to Fall Ball, Saturday, October 4, 8 p.m. – midnight at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA).

Fall Ball is an annual fundraising gala hosted by Young Leaders to advance education, income and health in Greater Cleveland. The 2014 theme is Uniquely Cleveland. Expect to celebrate the passion and pride we have for our beloved city. And this year, we have live entertainment from Z107.9 radio personality, official DJ of the Cleveland Cavaliers and celebrity DJ to Lebron James (among others), DJ Steph Floss.

This is Fall Ball’s second year at MOCA. It’s an amazing venue and adds flare to the event.  Fall Ball is a unique opportunity to tour the latest art galleries and enjoy hors d’oeuvres, endless cocktails and much more.

Tickets are almost sold out! Get yours today at www.UnitedWayCleveland.org/FallBall. Single tickets are $95 and $175 for a pair. See you there!
