Women’s Leadership Council in Greater Cleveland
Engaged. Empowered. Living United.
The Women’s Leadership Council activates the power and energy of Greater Cleveland women to change the lives of our youngest citizens. Through philanthropy, volunteerism and advocacy, the WLC members are devoted to ensuring every child in Greater Cleveland has the opportunity to attend a quality preschool and choose a high performing primary school.
The WLC’s chosen signature cause for 2014-2016 supports early learning initiatives to ensure all children in Greater Cleveland have access to quality education. In partnership with The Centers for Families and Children 2,000 Days Pledge Program, the WLC will help our children attend early learning programs, encourage effective parent-teacher partnerships and assist parents in choosing high-performing primary schools that are responsive to the unique needs of their child. The WLC’s support provides a dedicated full-time Kindergarten Transition Specialist to help parents make the right choice for their children.
