Young Leaders are professionals in their twenties and thirties who want to work to make our community better through philanthropy, volunteerism and advocacy with United Way of Greater Cleveland.

Our Community Commitment

We commit ourselves by working together to eliminate the income achievement gap in Greater Cleveland. This commitment is aligned with two impact areas, education and health.  Young Leaders are passionate and committed to mobilizing young professionals to engage in giving, advocating and volunteering for meaningful projects where we can make a difference and see the outcomes of our efforts.  Learn more about our community commitment here.

Young Leaders Benefits and Opportunities

Young Leaders are given the opportunity to make an impact in the Greater Cleveland community through the following opportunities:

  • Volunteer within the Young Leaders community commitment
  • Network with a diverse group of young professionals
  • Attend quarterly Speaker Series, where many of our community’s most prominent leaders share their secrets for success and insights about balancing their professional demands with a fulfilling personal life
  • Meet corporate and community leaders as well as other young professionals that will help you grow both professionally and in philanthropy

The Young Leaders annual Fall Ball: Uniquely Cleveland was nominated for the 2014 Corporate Event of the Year (Fundraiser, with less than $50,000 planning budget) at the eighth-annual Connectors Choice Awards presented by Cleveland Business Connects magazine. Young Leaders host the annual Fall Ball gala each October, raising funds for United Way initiatives.

Our Corporate Chapters
