About Andrew
I grew up in Cincinnati, attended St. Xavier High School and Boston College. I have been working with GE since I graduated in 2009 and have been in Cleveland for a little over two years now. I enjoy being outdoors hiking, skiing, fishing etc.

Why did you join Young Leaders?
My favorite UWYL event to date has been the Fall Ball, it is such a great event that brings together a diverse group of people from businesses all over Cleveland. It was one of the first events that I attended as a member of UWYL and has been a favorite for the past couple of years

What is your favorite Young Leaders event and why?
I have really enjoyed each and every Young Leaders volunteer and networking opportunity, my favorite being the happy hours. It’s a great way to connect with others in the UWYL community and meet other philanthropic-minded young professionals in Cleveland. If you’re new to the area or to UWYL I highly encourage that you make it out to an upcoming happy hour!

In your opinion, what makes Cleveland a good city for young professionals?
I think that Cleveland is an excellent city for young professionals for two reasons, growth and options. Cleveland is currently in the middle of a transformational growth and the face of the city is changing what feels like daily now and there are so many opportunities to get involved. This growth creates options for young professionals’ professionally, socially, and philanthropically. There are very few cities where someone in the mid to late 20’s can participate in the growth redefinition of a city’s identity.
