ABOUT THE PROGRAM
LEAD UNITED is an affinity group and professional development program designed to strengthen the connection between service-minded leaders and Greater Cleveland communities.
The experience is built to help participants deepen their passion for philanthropy through hands-on experience with the mission and operations of a large nonprofit. It also builds skills and perspectives relevant to future board and civic service.
TIME COMMITMENT
Lead United is a two-year program designed to fit alongside full-time professional responsibilities. It includes:
- Orientation
- Three leadership sessions each year
- Service on a United Way board committee
- Additional opportunities, including events and volunteer activities
- Capstone project during year two
COST
A one-time cohort fee is due by orientation:
- Corporate participants: $500
- Nonprofit participants: $350
Fees help offset program costs such as food and beverage, meeting space, and speakers.
Payment assistance or installment options may be available upon request.
