Finding Your Best Fit: Vetting Board & Volunteer Opportunities

March 14 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm EDT

Join United Way’s Emerging Leaders for its second annual professional development panel co-presented by the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.

The panel’s topic is, Finding Your Best Fit: Vetting Board & Volunteer Opportunities. In a city as philanthropic as Cleveland, it can be challenging for young professionals to sift through a wide variety of civic engagement opportunities to find one that aligns with both their personal priorities and professional goals. The purpose of this panel is to engage Cleveland’s next generation of leaders in a meaningful and practical conversation on how to do just that.

The panel is comprised of local experts in the volunteerism and experienced board members including Dr. Edward Barksdale (UH Rainbow Babies), Jonas Ng (KeyBank), and Beverly Schneider (STERIS), with moderator Heather Englander (Business Volunteers Unlimited).
