About

The Geauga County Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC) helps adults over 60, people with disabilities, and their families find and access support services. 

Trained Specialists offer benefits counseling, long-term care planning, and information about local resources to help community members maintain independence and financial security.

Impact

In 2023, the Geauga ADRC provided:

  • $22,842 in utility and rent assistance to 150 individuals
  • 602 Home Delivered Meals to residents under 60 living with a disability
  • 452 people with support services

Our services include:

Information & Assistance

Specialists offer education and resources for maintaining independence, economic security, and health and wellness.

Benefits Counseling

Specialists provide accurate information about public and private benefits. We assist with filing applications, locating needed documents, and analyzing the effects of work and income on eligibility for other programs.

Long-Term Care Planning

Options Counselors help create a care plan that meets the recipient’s personal needs and preferences.
