HOW YOUR SUPPORT MAKES A DIFFERENCE
211 AND ESSENTIAL SERVICES
United Way 211 is both a lifeline in moments of crisis and a gateway to opportunity.
This year, the helpline answered more than 226,000 calls and coordinated with more than 80 agencies during critical emergencies.
INSIGHTS THAT GUIDE OUR WORK
39% of Ohio households struggle to cover basic needs.
Data from the 2025 Ohio ALICE Report show that many working families can’t afford essentials. Insights like this plus, data from our 211 helpline, explain the conditions that shape financial stability and guide our community investments.
PUBLIC POLICY & ADVOCACY
We invest in people’s capacity not just to get by, but to get ahead.
Our 2024-2025 advocacy work addressed benefits cliffs, strengthened 211 funding, and supported safer housing and income stability.
