The mission of Towards Employment is to empower individuals to achieve and maintain self-sufficiency through employment.
Program Description: First Step
Towards Employment connects people to careers, which changes lives, advances businesses, and strengthens community in Northeast Ohio.
Even in a booming job market, many are not prepared to take advantage of these opportunities. The First Step program provides personal career maps that outline a pathway to advancement.
Using Towards Employment’s WorkAdvance Model, career coaches provide the support needed to meet the entry requirements of higher paying jobs, wraparound supports, extended coaching to navigate challenges and support advancement, and leadership development so graduates can use their own voices to advocate for change.
